2011 is proving to be a year of many changes: wrapping up my tour in detroit (and michigan), preparing for law school, getting my big kid teeth...
if you are reading this, you probably know my smile looks something like this:as you may know, that smile includes 2 baby canines and a memorial gap for the baby tooth i lost in high school. with 2 parts practicality, 1 part vanity, and 1 part good fortune, i decided 2011 would be the year for my smile to grow up.
so doc pulled out the two survivors, leaving me with a frightening grin
and a flipper (e.g. temporary dentures).
i'm told the vampire phenomenon will fade as i get used to my adult-size canines. stitches come out next week. screws go in mid-march. and with good fortune, i'll be ready for my close up when i hit the books this fall.

big year! i'm most interested in hearing about this possible roller derby hobby you mentioned picking up. and teeth. and law school. do you know where you're going yet?

as for roller derby, tryouts are in june so we'll see...
