i'm not sure what sarah and fay are doing in detroit because, girl, they are good! i'm talking about the female-oriented menu at good girls go to paris crepes, of course.
mom and i were looking to celebrate the recently defrosted d-town when we took off for the creperie just south of comerica park. as we approached the 48-square-foot walk-up, a woman opened the window releasing an aroma that nearly sent me to heaven praising all that is good. we looked over the menu: katie, melinda, mollika, vera, allison, ksenia...mom settled on a savory delight with mushrooms, chevre, spinach, red peppers and a drizzle of balsamic dressing (sarah). i asked for the sweetest of sweets and landed a crepe reminiscent of the new orleans' dessert, bananas foster (fay). mmm...
good thing owner, torya blanchard, is opening a second location in our building this spring? this could be bad.
