last week a few keys on my keyboard went on strike, namely:
g
h
backspace
apostrophe
i tried to negotiate terms, namely:
cleaning up their work enviornment
pressing every combination of buttons to force action
restarting and shutting down the system alogether
begging for compliance
on this blessed st. father's day (as my nephew calls it), all of the rebel keys on old betsy (my 2001 hp pentium 3 laptop) woke up, ready to work.
as a note of appreciation, i write:
