see you on the rooftop

the weekend started with a haircut - something sassy for summertime - to usher in a new season for me in the d. like many of the pseudo-symbolic rituals i secretly perform, it seemed to work. staff at the hub took to calling me sparklepants, neighbor john and i actually hung out, and i purchased my first detroit-grown produce at eastern market.the list of firsts continues: niece rachel and i had a heart-to-heart about 4th grade crushes, sam and i rocked out to dj z-trip at movement/demf 2009, i broke a 6-month frisbee fast and played ultimate, and rode a 3-wheeler. to top it all off, i discovered that we have rooftop access around the clock at my building. that means, summer of sleepovers. see you there.
